About Us

Our Westlands Journey

Est.2022.

Our journey began with the reunion of retired Ps Robert Manhando with his grandson
Panashe in 2022, after he had returned from University. Both of the nature lovers
have green fingers and an undeniable love for plants and bees.

They both agreed to start keeping bees to produce herbal honey at Westlands farm and soon enough Eleazer, Panashe’s friend and business enthusiast, teamed up with
them to start a missional business.

Our mission is to produce a variety of certified organic honey and value-added
products, as well as associated organic crops and beekeeping services while
contributing towards the empowerment of communities and repopulating of honey
bees and improve biodiversity in Africa.

Shingi leads our beekeeping operations while managing key projects from planning to execution. With hands-on expertise in hive management and a strategic approach to workflow, he ensures both our bees and business thrive.
